1953 power wagon
1953 B4 Dodge Power Wagon $11,000 [CO] 1953 B4 Dodge Power Wagon Ready for typical standard 1st-time restoration of all systems. An excellent starting point. Other than a 12V alternator conversion using the Vintage Power Wagon kit, no recent, or later-life restoration efforts have been afflicted. (original 6V generator is included) 230 flathead six; starts, runs, moves in all gears, can be driven onto a trailer. Parking brake stops truck. Truck is not safely roadworthy. 5.83:1 axle ratio. Rear PTO, but missing rear pillow block. - A San Leandro factory truck, used hard during its working life in CA. - Vintage door logos: “Northern Salinas Valley Mosquito Abatement District”, good ol’ # “12.” - Possibly once fitted with a spraying unit powered by the rear PTO (?). - Purchased from Bill Hair in Atascadero, CA in 2001. - I have an old CA title, believed to be for this truck. Issued in 1962, with a corresponding signature releasing ownership in 1999, and no further info. It was given to me with the truck, but was not used in my purchasing transaction. - Transported from CA to CO by Brad Bottom. - Garage-stored in Colorado since 2001. - Odometer reads 45291 - Original non-rusted 2nd series bed and tailgate, modified heavily during the truck’s worklife with “job-rated” and not-very-pretty welded reinforcement plates, triangular bed-corner buttresses, and a hideous-looking front bed rack. A lot of cutting and grinding would be required in attempt to restore these vintage modifications back to an original bed. However, the added structure of this bed, and the rear PTO, make it a good candidate for conversion to a dumping bed which had been my plan. - Original wood bed floor mostly there, but rotted, and bed strips worn/rusted beyond restoration. Crossbar channels in good shape. - Driver’s side front frame horn bent slightly inward at the very front. - Lower rear cab corners and rear cab bottom edge rusted through, rest of cab and sheet metal solid, but with dents and wear. - Fenders, running boards, shrouds, cowls, hood, and all body mount channels in solid non-rusted unmolested condition. Doors swing, close, and latch solidly with that wonderful heavy sound. - Windshield regulator complete and functions smoothly, windshield frame in repairable shape, but not perfect. - Tires are directional 10.50 16LT Super Mudder Military Tread. Three are stamped “Gateway”, the fourth is stamped “Dick Cepek” - Possibly retreads (?) - fair condition – hold air. Includes the following new packaged parts: - 2 ARB Air locking differentials for PW, and ARB compressor from Dan Shockley - Helitool UglyTruckling front disk brake conversion kit for PW from Ray Suiter - Helitool kit only – (the locally-purchasable required brake components are not included). - Selectro lockout hubs for PW from Steve Fowler - NOS amber-front/red-back front turn signal light set from Kevin Foust Includes the following used parts: - Vintage heater unit for PW, good rear window glass and trim frame from Doug Higgins - Vintage Monarch snow plow fit to PW, complete with all hardware from Matthew LeClerc - See photo of plow when it was mounted on Matthew’s orange PW - Plow transported from NY to CO by Cheyenne-Dave Brownlow - Original base-and-back seat spring assemblies - (some type of appropriately-fitting and functional cloth bench seat is currently installed) - A Braden LU4 winch and cable from an M37 This Power Wagon is being offered as a project package for $11,000.00 I can try to answer any questions, and can provide more photos upon request. The truck is located 11 miles north of Woodland Park, CO I am currently living about a 3 ½ hour drive away from the truck in Loveland, CO Despite this distance, I will try to accommodate all serious potential inquiries. 1951 m37
1951 Dodge M37 $12,000 [WI] I have for sale a restored 1951 M37 painted red. This truck was owned by a township from 1966 - 2000, driven regularly and was very well maintained. I purchased this truck in 2000. Mechanically, it is all still original 1951, but I chose not to repaint the truck green. It has a 230 cid Dodge engine, that has been rebuilt, but I don’t know when. It had a new head installed by the town, along with new brakes, drums, and wheel cylinders before I bought it. When I purchased the vehicle I changed all fluids, and had the gas tank repaired and resealed. The electrical is 24 V, and I installed a new complete correct reproduction wire harness. Everything works and the truck runs and drives great. Well everything but the damn gas gauge. I put a new sending unit in when I did the tank work, it worked for a bit but then nothing. I don’t use much more that a tank of gas a year so I just never bothered to try and fix it again. There is an access panel in the bed to get at the sending unit so you don’t have to drop the tank to fool with it. I removed the front end and bed, sand blasted and painted the frame, ground all of the sheet metal to bare metal, and had a body shop paint the exterior cardinal red. Cab interior and bed are painted black. I have boxes of extra parts, such as all new window glass crank mechanisms, seals, tune up parts, replacement bulbs, two new Jeep heater kits that I never got around to installing. Since I don’t drive it in cold weather, it never got very far up my list. Following is a list of the work I have done New Douglas style waterproof wire harness New Military tires New bed floor, the old one was rotted from the town hauling fertilizer to parks There was no other rust damage to any sheet metal 24v to 12v converter added to run a am/fm CD radio Warn locking hubs Seat belts (I took my kids to school with this truck, no go without the belts. 3 total) Exterior bolts I had to remove to reinstall fenders or sheet metal were replaced with stainless, I have the original bolts. All of the silver parts on the exterior, handles, trim rings, lug nuts were powder coated silver New troop seats with oak boards New exhaust pipe All window glass was replaced with new safety glass. Running boards, cab floor and bed are coated with bed liner 2 new 12v batteries Asking $12,000.00 Located in Wisconsin Email terrysue@centurytel.net Phone - Days (608) 782-7620 Nights (608) 788-3916

Dodge Swivel Frame Power Wagons & more [CA] Swivel Frames and more for Sale I have gathered some really great trucks, and first class parts over the years, and now the time has come to let someone else take over the entire collection and the restoration. I would really like to sell the entire lot at once but I know many people might not have the means to do so. I will give priority to a entire lot purchase. Everything is located in Templeton, Ca. 93465. Storage can be negotiated. Here are the trucks I have for sale:

1956 Willock Swivel Frame Serial # 83951768 C-4-PW. This truck is a current runner and can be seen in action on You Tube at http://youtu.be/LaUAafenZhA and at http://youtu.be/4I2myOXCTkY $15,000

1954 Willock/Truckstell Swivel Frame Serial # 83939503 Tweener model meaning this is one of a very few 1954 trucks that are C-4-PW according to the serial number but the data plate indicates a C-3_PW. See the dodge power wagon page under the “Model Year Detail” tab and see the note at the bottom of the page. This truck is in mid-restoration.

1955 C-3-PW- Parts truck- Serial # 83944128 with exceptional cab and body work from the dry hi desert of Colorado, very original and unmolested, no bed.

1966 M-601- This truck is N.O.S. and is in as found condition from a warehouse on the East coast. This truck was featured in the VPW catalog a few years back and is complete from the leaf spring up which means no running gear or engine. The shipping orders to Na Trang Vietnam are still pasted on the hood with the words “less engine”! If you are looking for some of the best original PW sheet metal here it is! I guarantee you will never see a more pristine original frame or third series bed on the planet. $5,000 1959-W300M- Complete Forest Service truck and appears to be a very low mileage vehicle based upon many factors including virtually no wear on the clutch pedal, exceptionally straight cab and front end sheet metal and the odometer reading 15K. The only issue with the cab is the common rust holes at the cab corners. Some unique and rare options are factory bumperetts on the rear and a radiator overflow tank. I hate to say it but “ran when parked”. I have actually driven this truck but was nearly asphyxiated by exhaust gases as the original muffler is fried. Brakes and wheel cylinders will need to be replaced for sure. Tires hold air but are weather checked. Complete and solid restorable truck. $4,500 New Parts- N.I.B. Vintage Wiring of Maine complete wiring harness for the Swivel Frame. Original Cost $1,000+ Set of four Denman N.D.T. tires mounted on freshly powder coated rims complete with new tubes and flaps. Original Cost $1,500 Four new leaf springs (from Steven Fowler) with new pivot pins and bushings $1,500 One set of new reproduction running boards. Original Cost $800 Ring and pinion 4.83 Vintage Parts- Two winch bumper set-ups One set of rear fenders Two sets of front fenders Several axles 2 Gas Tanks Forest Service Brush Truck 300 gallon Tank/bed Nice heavy duty vintage flat bed. Set of Locking hubs

1952 Dodge M37 $4,500 [GA] 1952 Dodge M37 Awesome Army pick-up 6 cylinder engine Superb restoration potential, or fun recreational, or rugged work vehicle. Great condition for age. Ran and drove last time I started it a couple months ago. Needs a tune up, but it will come with various spare parts, including new plugs and wires - the correct ones (expensive), other ignition parts, and a few other parts like fan blade, some power steering components, replacement passenger front window, new OD US Army style heavy duty canvas top. Minimal rust for age, perfectly solid truck including body and drivetrain. I bought it a couple years ago, and had it shipped from Indiana, but never got around to doing anything with it since I live full time in Atlanta, and the truck is in Royston. Easy drive up I-85 then about 30 minutes off the interstate. I also have some literature/manuals that will come with it.
